Transmission concerns are sometimes blamed on the gearbox itself when inconsistent engine performance is creating irregular shift behavior.
Suspension noises are often diagnosed as shock absorbers when worn control arm bushings or sway bar links are the true source.
These situations don’t necessarily happen because technicians lack experience.
They happen because modern European vehicles are deeply interconnected.
One failing component often affects the behavior of several others, making symptoms appear in unexpected places.
That’s why diagnosis has become more important than repair itself.
